The crystals roll on the clay base of the Carnation, which gives the Coarse Salt from Guérande its slightly gray color, its taste qualities and its richness in mineral salts, calcium, magnesium and trace elements (iron, zinc, selenium etc ...) It does not contain additives.
 
Guérande Salt is less loaded with sodium, which is why it is recommended in dietetics, in sodium restricted diets.
